On July 25, the micro-mobility project team of STELLANTIS Group for the Middle East and Africa region visited New Gonow Group’s Taizhou base to conduct an on-site inspection of the company’s R&D and manufacturing capabilities. Liu Xiang, Senior Vice President of New Gonow Group and General Manager of the Taizhou base, along with the international business team, accompanied the visit. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on technological and market cooperation in the field of new energy commercial vehicles.
During the visit, the STELLANTIS team toured New Gonow’s intelligent manufacturing center and test-drove its new energy vehicle models. They spoke highly of the vehicles’ performance, intelligent configurations, and passenger-car-inspired interior design. The visiting team showed particular interest in the Super VAN model, jointly developed by New Gonow and leading industry partners, praising its cutting-edge technology and scenario adaptability in the new energy commercial vehicle sector.
At the symposium, Liu Xiang provided a detailed introduction to New Gonow’s comprehensive layout across the new energy vehicle industry chain, covering R&D, production, sales, after-sales services, and charging ecosystem development. He emphasized the company’s customer-centric approach to customized solutions. Alexandre Edorh, Project Leader for STELLANTIS Group in the Middle East and Africa, shared insights into the strong demand for green mobility in local markets and expressed high recognition of New Gonow’s products and technologies. He looked forward to leveraging the complementary strengths of both parties to achieve strategic synergy in new energy commercial vehicles.
